Northwest Garden Fire Pit Views and Gym

After our 11-day stay, we feel future guests should know about our experience. We paid over 4,500 and expected a clean, safe, well-maintained home.On Day 1, the floors were sticky. We asked the host for a mop/Swiffer and were told there were no cleaning supplies, so we had to purchase our own. We were traveling with a 1-year-old and 4-year-old.On Day 2, we discovered ants throughout the home. Despite repeatedly contacting the host, the infestation continued for days. Ants spread through the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, and laundry room, got into our groceries, and crawled on us and our children. We had to throw away food multiple times. We also reported dirty dishes and trash left behind.On Day 6, my wife saw a mouse run across the kitchen floor. We immediately notified the host and provided a photo. Pest control eventually arrived, acknowledged the severity of the ant problem, and placed mouse traps inside. We were especially concerned that the host gave the company an access code to the home without notifying us first. The traps were left near the kitchen and accessible to our young children. We repeatedly requested assistance and compensation, but our final messages were not answered for days. The mouse was seen on our last day in the home in the living room againWe understand unexpected issues happen, but the lack of urgency and communication was extremely disappointing. Much of our vacation was spent dealing with pests. We would not stay here again.

Matt and Ian were incredibly responsive & accommodating hosts. The house was cozy and suited our needs.
